About us

The International Indian School Buraidah was established as a branch of The Embassy of Indian School, Riyadh on 26th August 1989 with 45 students and 9 teachers under the guidance of H E Dr Talal Hussain Al Beyari, the then Director General of Health Affairs, Qassim Province and through the dedicated efforts of the Indian Community in Buraidah.

Today the strength of students is above 2500, 127 teachers, 18 administrative staff and 32 others. Being the only School in the Al Qassim Region, IISB takes great pride in the knowledge that our students travel within a range of 150 kms to attend school, as ours is the only Institution committed to the noble cause of imparting education to Indians in this province.

Our students are doing well in Academic as well as Co Curricular Activities and have participated at the Cluster Level in GK Quiz, Science Exhibition and Athletics and have achieved positions in the same.

The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India and is licensed under the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The School endeavors to move towards fulfillments of above goals under the kind patronage and able guidance of Mr Hemant Kotalwar Ambassador of India to the Kingdom.
